Pediatricians recommend screening for development issues and signs of ASD at 12 months to 24 months. At New Beginnings, we offer complimentary early screening through the use of the M-CHAT.
The M-CHAT-R (Modified Checklist for Autism in Toddlers, Revised) is a set of screening questions designed to assess the potential risks of ASD. This screening tool is suitable for children as young as 6 months up to 6 years old.
